Can I change my order?
Sure, but we do have a change policy.
All changes (including but not limited to: frame choice, shipping address, or location) will incur a minimum $5 change fee.
The exact change fee will depend on the extent of work involved.
If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the options.
Cancellations are accepted on a case by case basis and may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Can you make my lake (or island, or beach, or city)?
YES! Message us directly to discuss a custom order featuring your area!
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Due to the custom nature of our products, we're not able to accept returns or exchanges.
If you added personalization, you'll have a chance to review a PDF of your map before production.
If your map arrives damaged or with an error, please contact right away so we can fix it!
Can I personalize my map?
Yes! We love personalizing our maps for our customers. If you’d like to add personalization, please include that information in the personalization field on the product page, or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your personalization requests.
Need some inspiration? Some personalization we’ve done in the past includes: vacation homes, lake homes, favorite bars/restaurants, wedding locations, marina/boat docks, etc.
Will I get to see my product before it's produced?
If you added personalization, you will receive a PDF before we send your map to production.
When you receive your PDF, be sure to double check all details. We aren't responsible for errors overlooked by the customer.
As the PDF is just a digital rendering, the colors will not be true to life. We ask that you use the PDF just to verify the details of your map.
Also, if you take more than 48 hours to respond to the PDF, your order may be delayed. We'll do our best to keep in touch with you, but if we don't get a response after 4 days, we'll assume the PDF is approved, and move forward with production.
How many edits am I allowed to make to my PDF?
We are proud to offer extreme flexibility with our customization options. That said, we allow up to three versions of a PDF before a minimum $30 design fee may apply.

When will my product ship?
Typically, our production time is around two weeks.
Custom orders might take longer, but we'll be sure to keep you informed on your order's processing time.
During the holiday season, we recommend allowing up to four weeks for your order to ship (so buy early!).
If you need to rush your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we can try to work with your deadline. Rush fees may apply.

What map styles do you offer?
We have two map styles available: two dimensional, and three dimensional.
2D maps feature two layers of wood. The land detail is engraved on a natural wood layer, and the water detail is engraved on a blue stained layer. The water detail (depth lines, depth numbers, etc) are highlighted white so they pop beautifully against the blue.
3D maps feature up to 8 individual depth layers within the blue stained water layer. No matter the depth of your body of water, we can incorporate multiple layers into the map!
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Because of the size of our products and packaging, we're not able to gift wrap our products.
However, if you'd like just to include a handwritten card in your package, please let us know!
